Abstract
Extraction of the aerial parts of Dumasia truncata Sieb et Zucc. afforded two new triterpenoidal saponins, together with four known ones. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectral analysis as 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosy-28-O- beta-D- glucopyransoyl hederagenin and 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1-->3)]-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl oleanic acid.Entities:
