Abstract
We report a case of cheilitis granulomatosa with periodontitis in a 39-year-old Japanese man. Biopsy specimens from both areas showed noncaseating epithelioid cell granuloma. Dental examination revealed that the lower left first molar had periodontitis. The lower left first molar was removed, and antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs were administered. After 2 months of periodontitis therapy, the lips returned to normal size without recurrence and the swelling of the buccal mucosa regressed.Entities:
