Abstract
Significant advances have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of brain metastases, and the therapeutic nihilism of the past is not warranted for most patients with brain metastases. With currently available treatments, most patients do not die of their brain metastases and usually experience effective palliation of neurologic symptoms and meaningful extension of life.Entities:
