Abstract
Patients at risk for inherited colorectal cancer constitute a heterogeneous population. A total colectomy is minimal treatment for those patients with invasive cancer or those with established risk factors. For others at risk, predictive genetic markers, correlated with clinical and pathologic determinants, will establish the basis for policies of surveillance and preventive surgery.Entities:
