Abstract
A new colorimetric method using 4-aminoantipyrine-dimethylaniline in a glucose oxidase-peroxidase system is proposed to determine glucose in serum. The developed color was stable at the optimum pH of glucose oxidase, 5.6. The method is more sensitive than the o-dianisidine method and is reproducible. The correlation between the proposed method and the o-dianisidine method is 0.989.Entities:
