Abstract
Irreducible dorsal dislocation of the interphalangeal joint of the great toe is rare. Few case reports can be found in the literature. Most cases have been treated with operative exploration of the joint and reduction through a dorsal midline incision. We present a case where a medial approach was used under local block anesthesia to treat an irreducible complex dislocation of the interphalangeal joint of the great toe.Mesh:
