Abstract
We report an 18-year-old patient who presented with delayed neurological deterioration secondary to posttraumatic cerebellar infarction. Management by ventricular drainage and posterior fossa decompression resulted in a good outcome. The absence of a demonstrable structural vascular lesion makes this case apparently unique. The possible aetiology, pathogenesis and management of this condition are discussed.Entities:
