Abstract
The prescription of a limited range of products by nurses in the UK is now into its second year of evaluation. This paper describes a visit made to study nurse prescribing in Sweden. The Swedish scheme is analysed and compared with the system being developed in the UK. One scheme involves prescribing with a protocol, while the other involves diagnosis and treatment.Mesh：
