Sex and sexuality in the cancer patient.

The number of cancer survivors is increasing dramatically. Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) will have the opportunity to work with cancer survivors as part of their clinical practice and can have influence on the cancer survivor's sexuality as part of the normalization process. Consequently, the cancer survivor's journey will be much richer with an even greater potential for a better quality of life.
