Abstract
The frequency of gallbladder stones is as high as 10% in the general population over 50 years. Nevertheless, only 10% to 20% of patients become symptomatic. The diagnosis of symptomatic forms is important because treatment must be early before the advent of severe complications. This brief article describes technologic points and semeiologic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) finding of gallbladder stones, analyzes the studies, and describes specific situations warranting the use of EUS.Entities:
