Abstract

75 occasions of suicide attempts carried out by self-burning were analysed. It was revealed that the individuals in the age of 40-49 (unemployed and disabled) as well as physically working people predominated in most cases. Suicides were usually performed out of working sphere. In more than 70% of occasions either alcohol intoxication or some psychic diseases (which did not combine in one person) accompanied this kind of injury. No sex prevalence was observed in this group of patients.
