Abstract
The popliteus tendon can be a potential source of internal derangement after total knee arthroplasty. It can subluxate anteriorly and posteriorly over a retained lateral femoral condylar osteophyte or over the overhanging edge of the metallic posterior femoral condyle. Surgical release of the tendon from its femoral insertion relieves the problem.Entities:
