Abstract

Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVS) is a disease of unknown origin that most commonly affects the synovial joints and synovial sheaths of the skeletally mature. In an eight-month-old infant, a leg swelling thought likely to be a sarcoma proved to be PVS on biopsy.
