Abstract
We describe a preterm infant of 32 weeks' gestation with hydrops fetalis due to intrauterine supraventricular tachycardia. On the second day of life, cranial ultrasound showed a mainly right-sided periventricular leukomalacia already with porencephalic cysts. These findings were confirmed by autopsy. An association of intrauterine tachycardia with periventricular leukomalacia must be assumed.Entities:
