Abstract
The authors describe two patients with presumed central pontine myelinolysis whose clinical symptoms were mild despite extensive intrapontine lesions evident on MR imaging. Enhancement of the lesions with Gd-DTPA was not observed in either case. It is suggested that the severity of findings on MR imaging does not necessarily reflect the severity of clinical symptoms of the disease.Entities:
