Abstract
This article reports placement of a single mandibular endosseous implant in a 5-year-old patient with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia and oligodontia. This congenital anomaly does not appear to retard healing and the osseointegration remains after 5 1/2 years of loading. Surgical, prosthodontic, and growth and development considerations are presented.Entities:
