Abstract
We report a series of intraoperative complications of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Three cases are presented in which subcutaneous emphysema associated with pneumomediastinum, pneumoscrotum, and pneumothorax with pneumomediastinum and ocular emphysema, respectively, developed intraoperatively. These events resulted in no major morbidity to these patients. Use of N2O and monitoring of airway and intraabdominal pressures are discussed.Entities:
