Abstract
The study of neurohypophyseal function in various neuropsychiatric diseases is interesting because: (1) The main neurohypophyseal peptides vasopressin (AVP) and oxytocin (OT) share by themselves modulatory influence on behavior. (2) Hypothalamo-posterior pituitary axis is directly influenced by modifications of central neurotransmitter metabolism involved in behavior control.Entities:
