Abstract
Complete loss of light perception in an eye is one of the most severe complications of maxillofacial surgery. Although irreversible in many cases, early recognition and prompt intervention may improve the final outcome. The purpose of this article is to review the etiology and pathophysiology of retrobulbar hemorrhage, and discuss its diagnosis and management.Entities:
