Abstract
The decline in tuberculosis (TB) incidence since 1950 stopped in the late 1980s, but the reasons for this arrest are not yet certain. An HIV/TB interaction, such as that described in the USA, has not yet been convincingly shown. Because of the decreased prevalence and variable distribution of TB cases, clinical awareness of TB has been reduced and its management can be suboptimal.Entities:
