Abstract
The authors describe a new surgical procedure applied to the treatment of villous adenoma of the rectum. The mechanical device called Endo-GIA 30 Multifire (Merlin Médical, F69672 Bron), an automatic suture clamp regularly used in laparoscopic surgery, facilitates complete excision of villous adenomas if the tumour is located less than 10 cm from the anal margin.Entities:
