Abstract
A case of gangrenous cystitis in a 67-year-old woman is reported. Associated etiological factors include invasive recurrent carcinoma of the cervix, radiotherapy and atherosclerosis. Primary infection was not a feature. The patient was treated with antibiotics, bladder drainage and total cystectomy with complete recovery. The etiology and management of this unusual condition are discussed.Entities:
