Abstract
Free air within the cavernous sinus was discovered incidentally on a computed tomographic (CT) scan. We suggest that air bubbles were introduced inadvertently when contrast material was injected just prior to CT scanning. On a repeat CT scan 16 days later, the air had disappeared.Mesh:
