Abstract
A case of adenocarcinoma of the colon is reported. It presented in a family with hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC). Colonoscopic screening at a young age is recommended in such families. It also suggests a genetic basis for colorectal carcinogenesis in this family. Three of the members of this family also have peptic ulceration and an association between this syndrome and HNPCC is postulated.Entities:
