Abstract
Appenolides A [1], B [2], and C [3], three new antifungal 2(5H)-furanones, have been isolated from liquid cultures of the coprophilous fungus Podospora appendiculata (UAMH 7225) by repeated preparative tlc on Si gel. The structures were assigned on the basis of nmr and ms data.Entities:
