Abstract
The diagnosis and treatment of those injuries most commonly seen in conjunction with distal radius fractures are reviewed in this article. Concomitant tendon, arterial, and nerve injuries often are associated with a high-energy mechanism of trauma. These injuries may complicate an already difficult fracture care plan, especially if the diagnosis of these injuries is delayed. Late tendon rupture and intercarpal injuries are discussed also.Entities:
