Abstract
Two patients with persistent trigeminal artery who had an ipsilateral cerebral stroke are presented. The relevant literature is reviewed. The significance of the trigeminal artery in occlusive cerebrovascular disease is discussed and it is concluded that the presence of a trigeminal artery in patients with occlusive cerebrovascular disease may not be of major protective value.Entities:
