Abstract
Three adult patients (one man and two women) with acquired lateral telangiectatic nevus (acquired port-wine stain or acquired nevus flammeus) on the face are presented. One patient had no history of preceding trauma. However, in two others, chronic sun exposure probably caused actinic damage of the skin with telangiectasia. A review of the literature on acquired lateral telangiectatic nevus and its causative factors is presented.Entities:
