Carcinoma of the inguinal region arising from endometriosis of the round ligament. Report of a case.

Abstract

The case is reported of a patient with a mixed epithelial tumor, composed mainly of a clear cell and endometrioid carcinoma, arising from a focus of preexisting endometriosis of the round ligament. The tumor was presented as a painful inguinal hernia.
