The radiologic evaluation of calcaneal fractures.

K J Koval1, R Sanders.

Abstract

Although computed tomography (CT) scanning has revolutionized the treatment of calcaneal fractures, simple studies such as Böhler's view still have a role in the diagnosis and management of these fractures. This article reviews the benefits and limitations of these imaging techniques for calcaneal fractures.
