Abstract

An 11-year-old Japanese girl with nephrotic syndrome developed superior vena cava syndrome associated with hypercoagulability and an indwelling catheter. Cranial CT revealed diffuse low-density lesions in paraventricular white matter. Thrombectomy brought prompt relief of symptoms and correction of CT abnormalities.
