Abstract
Chylous ascites is mainly due to malignant abdominal disease or cirrhosis. We report the case of chylous ascites associated with protein losing enteropathy caused by fibrotic compression of abdominal lymphatic vessels and superior mesenteric vein complicating alcohol-related chronic pancreatitis.
