Anomalous origin of the left pulmonary artery from the aorta in an adult as an isolated anomaly: a case report.

Abstract

The rare occurrence of anomalous origin of the left pulmonary artery in an adult as an isolated malformation and normal pressures in the pulmonary artery arising from the right ventricle are described. The possible implications of surgery are also discussed.
