Abstract
The case of a 63-year-old man who developed Candida albicans osteomyelitis is reported. Because of renal impairment, fluconazole was chosen as treatment rather than amphotericin B. The patient made a full recovery. This is the first report of the successful use of fluconazole in the treatment of candidal osteomyelitis.Entities:
