Abstract
One of the unusual signs of sudden increase in intracranial pressure is central neurogenic pulmonary edema. This pulmonary edema produces a capillary-aveolar block resulting in hypoxia complicating the underlying neurologic condition. Good success in treating this problem has been obtained with controlled ventilation and positive end expiratory pressure respiration.Entities:
