Abstract
The authors report the case of an 8-year-old boy with a Ewing's sarcoma localized to the mandible. The therapeutic modalities consisting of induction chemotherapy, surgical removal of the involved portion of the mandible with reconstruction using a parascapular osteo-cutaneous free flap, and maintenance chemotherapy are described. Emphasis is placed on the importance of performing a wide resection and the use of a multidisciplinary team approach in the treatment of these unusual tumours.Entities:
