Abstract
We wish to reintroduce an infrequently employed technique to re-establish intestinal continuity after extended resection of the left colon, transverse colon, and distal ascending colon. It involves bringing the proximal ascending colonic stump through the distal ileal mesenteric defect to reach the distal rectal stump in a tensionless fashion.Mesh：
