Spared awareness for the left side of internal visual images in patients with left-sided extrapersonal neglect.

B Anderson1.

Abstract

Two patients with neglect for extrapersonal space following right-hemisphere stroke both demonstrated retained ability to attend to the left side of internally generated visual images. The attentional system for extrapersonal space may not be identical to the attentional system for intrapersonal space.
