Parasympathetic influence on the nasal mucosa.

Abstract

The effect of graded parasympathetic nerve stimulation on the exchange and capacitance vessels of the nasal mucosa, as well as the secretory response, is reported. Possible postganglionic mediators of the vascular and secretory effects are discussed.
