Abstract
Primary melanomas of the central nervous system are unusual, and those in the pineal region are exceedingly rare. We present a case of primary pineal melanoma in a 60-year-old man. The lesion was subtotally resected through an infratentorial, supracerebellar approach. The clinical features and the histological findings are discussed.
