Surgical management of retinal detachment associated with optic nerve pit.

Abstract

A patient with serous macular detachment associated with congenital optic nerve pit was successfully treated with pars plana vitrectomy, air-fluid exchange with internal submacular fluid drainage, endolaser, and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas injection.
