Abstract
Nine cases of pseudomyxoma peritonei associated with ovarian neoplasia have been reviewed specifically from the standpoints of histology and histogenesis. It is suggested that this disseminated intraabdominal neoplasia results from mucinification of the abdominal mesothelium and that the stimulant for this alteration lies in the mucinous fluid.Entities:
