Abstract

A case of azygos/accessory hemiazygos continuation of the inferior vena cava is presented. This mimicked the chest radiograph appearances of dissection of the aorta, a diagnosis suspected clinically. Contrast-enhanced CT enabled the correct diagnosis to be made.
