Abstract
The increasing prevalence of dissociative disorders has spawned a range of diagnostic tools. The authors describe the use of several current methods--screening instruments, structured interviews, psychological testing, and hypnosis--and they advocate enlisting the patient as an active collaborator in the diagnostic process.Entities:
