Abstract
The high-density lipoprotein binding protein (HDLbp) is a 110-kDa protein that specifically binds HDL molecules and may function in the removal of excess cellular cholesterol. As part of an effort to study the function of the protein and its possible role in cholesterol transport, we report the localization of the gene for HDLbp, designated HDLBP, to human chromosome 2q37 using analysis of somatic cell hybrids and in situ hybridization.Entities:
