Abstract
In 1979 we published a report of a patient with primary liposarcoma of the pericardium treated by surgical resection. Since then we have performed a total of seven resections on the same patient for recurrent liposarcoma, which have given excellent symptomatic relief, and her life was prolonged for 14 years. Repeated resection of recurrent liposarcoma of the mediastinum should always be considered as the appropriate management for these patients.Entities:
