[Necrotizing fasciitis after closed pelvic ring fracture. Case report and review of the literature].

We are reporting a case of necrotizing fasciitis occurring on closed pelvis fracture and vulva injury, striking not only the soft tissue, but spreading all over the bone and the hip joint, too, and inducing a septic shock syndrome. The very atypical course of disease is described, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy are discussed and literature is reviewed.
