Abstract
The initial clinical clue to the existence of a disorder of the thyroid gland often is the detection of a physical abnormality of the gland. Adequate palpation of the gland is an essential component of the evaluation of a suspected disorder of the thyroid gland. Provided herein are guidelines that others have found useful in improving their skill in this aspect of physical diagnosis.Mesh:
