Comparison of larger and smaller groups on a ward for physically handicapped children on interaction in the "present" game.

K Miura1.

Abstract

During a game the number of presents from 23 severely handicapped children during 10 15-min. interactions were compared. Children in groups of 6 to 12 interacted more with peers than those in groups of 19 to 24. Smaller groups seemed more facilitative of play.
