Abstract
We have investigated the feasibility of using lyophilization as a method of preserving whole blood samples for HLA class II molecular typing. Genomic DNA extracted from lyophilized blood appears similar in size to that extracted from fresh or frozen blood and is suitable for both PCR amplification and Southern blot analysis.Mesh：
